Meet the Team
Michael McClafferty is a Michigan-based commercial real estate broker, appraiser, and entrepreneur specializing in multifamily investment sales and property operations. He is the Founder and Managing Broker of OakPointe Real Estate Advisors and Founder of OakPointe Management Group.
A graduate of the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, Michael began his career in global supply chain management before transitioning into real estate through investing in 2017. Since then, he has built experience across brokerage, valuation, underwriting, and property operations, with a focus on multifamily and investment real estate throughout Michigan.

Markie Smith is a property management professional with over six years of experience supporting condominium and homeowner associations throughout Michigan.
Markie believes in a hands-on, relationship-driven approach to property management built around responsiveness, organization, and clear communication. She understands the importance of balancing the daily needs of a community while helping protect and enhance long-term property values.
With a focus on transparency and dependable follow-through, Markie is committed to helping boards, co-owners, and residents feel supported and confident in their management team.
